XBoost provides an extensible Identity Management system for developers to leverage when building their own applications.

XBoost identity management services provide developers with all of the functionality they will need to fulfill the identity needs of their applications. XBoost has services for name, address (locations), contacts (email, phone, etc) in addition to user provisioning with username and password. XBoost's data model is designed to support any identity management storage needs.
XBoost 1.5 (Coming Soon!) brings the addition of a full API/service layer for developers to utilize directly or via web services from within their applications. To demonstrate the power of the identity management services, Ivis utilized XBoost and the new 1.5 service layer for its xProcess product.

XBoost Identity Management Applications
XBoost Control is a web-based administrative console for the XBoost environment. Within XBoost Control there are applications dedicated to the configuration of the XBoost identity management system. These applications are the User Group Manager and the User Account Manager.

User Account Manager:

Integrated Identity Management

Subscribe to User Groups
Apply user specific policies
  - User Defined Policies
  - Activity Logging
  - Date Policies
  - Login Policies
  - IP Restrictions
No duplication of LDAP or Active Directory users.

User Group Manager:

Create User Groups based on organization structure, roles, locations, etc.
Subscribe groups to the applications.
