Ivis is offering a unique opportunity to review and model the processes behind the types of projects that your organization undertakes, and to plan and implement resulting projects using the xProcess environment.
An understanding of process, and how processes vary between the projects in your programme or portfolio, is fundamental to effective Enterprise Project Management. This workshop will provide that understanding and is a crucial step to gaining the benefits of process improvement across your organization. The models of the process behind projects can provide teams with immediate access to the standard and best practices within an organization. However static or inappropriate process models can lock teams into outmoded or inefficient practices that reduce their effectiveness and inhibit collaboration within and between teams. Working with process and project management experts you will gain the knowledge and modelling skills to deliver effective project processes to your teams.
This workshop looks at how the process behind projects can be modelled using task patterns, artifact patterns and process types. It shows how projects can benefit from process improvements that occur during project execution, and how these changes, as well as those to estimates, priorities and resources, can be tracked and continually assist management decision making. The session will draw on a case studies from teams who have adopted this approach, and show how agile processes can be supported and enhanced. You will understand how project managers can instantiate your process models on real projects and more effectively control and monitor their plans while following the dynamic process model you have provided.
