View/Edit Locale Properties

To see specific properties of a locale:

1. Using the horizontal navigation, select XBoost Administration > Globalization Manager

2. Click List All Locales.

3. Once the Globalization Manager has loaded, a list of hyper linked available locales appears.

4. Use the left and right arrows to locate the locale you wish to edit.
5. Once you have located the locale, click on the Locale Name to open the properties screen.

Locale Properties

Locale ID - The identifier used by the system when referring to the locale.

Locale Name - The commons name for the locale.

Is Locale Supported? - Yes/No field to determine if the locale is enabled within XBoost.

Alternate Locale Name - Optional - An alternative name for this locale.

ISO Charset - The ISO Characgter set required for this locale.

Other Code - Optional - Other codes that can be used with the locale.

Locale Date Mask - The default date mask for the locale. This can be changed by the XBoost Administrator.

Locale Time Mask - The default time mask for the locale. This can be changed by the XBoost Administrator.

Locale Clock - Identifies whether the locale uses a 12 or 24 hour clock. This can be changed by the XBoost Administrator.

Synch this locale with: - XBoost will verify the locale against any other enabled XBoost locale. This verfication process checks the current locale against the synch locale for missing data list elements in the XBoost System List database table.
