Creating a .NET Resource Bundle

To create a resource bundle for use in your application:

  1. Create a text file with name/value pairs for all of the static text within your application. The name will be used by your application as a variable to call the value for use on a aspx page. See the example below.

  2. After you have added all of your localized text, Save the document. Example: Save them in the bin\bundles\YourApp\LocaleID directory.

  3. In the /bin/bundles/admin/ directory of your XBoost Controller, you will have a Build.bat and BuildAll.bat file. Use the Build.bat to compile individual resource bundles. Or, add your bundles to the BuildAll.bat file and you will be able to compile all of the resource bundles at once.

  4. Your resource bundle is now ready for use.
