Database Settings

We are going to briefly skip the Web Skins tab and take a moment to understand the Database Settings. The Database Settings allow you to configure a domain to connect and communicate with a given database. This streamlines the process by providing a mechanism to achieve this at the domain level instead of each individual application.

To view the database settings that are available for a specific domain:

  1. Select XBoost Administration > System Manager

  2. Click “System Settings”.

  3. After the interface has loaded, click the domain you wish to review in the “Registered Domains” field set.

  4. Click the “Data Settings” tab in the upper-right side of the interface

  5. As illustrated below, once the database settings panel loads, you will have the ability to review the database settings for the domain specified on the left side of the interface.
