Web Skin Inventory Panel

To view the web skins that are available for a specific domain:

  1. Select XBoost Administration > System Manager

  2. Click “System Settings”.

  3. After the interface has loaded, click the domain you wish to review in the “Registered Domains” field set.

  4. Click the “Web Skins” tab in the upper-right side of the interface

  5. As illustrated below, once the web skins panel loads, you will have the ability to review the web skins that are available for the domain specified on the left side of the interface.

  6. Notice a list of existing web skins that are available for use within the domain specified on the left part of the above user interface.

  7. To view the properties of a specific web skin, click the name of the web skin in the list.

Web Skin Property Definitions

Web Skin Name The web skin name attribute is used to identify a specific web skin.

Web Skin

Locale Specifies the intended target locale of a specific skin.

Messages Location in the JSP file where the message notification Displayed should be displayed.

Web Skin Specifies a relative path from the web root to the directory that contains the web skin’s assets. This path should be Directory Path unique for each web skin you register.

Specifies a relative path to the global directory that contains Resource resources that are available regardless of the web skin. Directory Path These resources could include external scripts, java applets,

or other miscellaneous web components. The menu group specifies where the application and functions will be organized within the navigation menu.

Menu Group Application Function will automatically become a sub-set of the application name. For example, XBoost Administration is the menu group for User Group Manager.

The interface pixel width is an attribute which developers Interface Pixel and/or designers can reference to assist in determining how Width application layout will be affected between the various web skins.
