Editing a User Group
As your system matures, you will have the need to edit user groups in order to manage all the access demands placed on your applications. With XBoost, it is easy to edit groups and thus permissions without having to reconfigure your whole system.
To edit a user group:
- Using the horizontal navigation, select XBoost Administration > User Group Manager
- Click List User Groups.
- Once the user group manager has loaded a list of hyper linked available user groups on the left side of the screen and tabbed navigation on the right side of the interface appears.
- Click the user group you wish to edit. This will load a new interface.
- On the left side of the screen the user group properties are populated in a form. On the right side of the screen should be a list of all available applications and their perspective functions.
- Edit the properties you wish to change and choose the applications that should be subscribed to this group.
- Click the “Save” icon. This will reload the interface and the user group should now be saved with the new edits.
